Hi, I'm Cat Roy-Stanley

Equestrian Relationship Coach | Personal & Professional Coach | Equine Body Worker | BSc Psychology | Teacher
But above all, I’m a horse mum and a dedicated horse person.
I support passionate horse owners to rediscover the joy in their relationship with their horse, and feel at home within themselves. Helping them move beyond that uneasy feeling, and to find a way forward that feels aligned, ethical, and true to both of them.

Blending psychology, coaching, and hands-on equine work, I bring together both professional expertise and lived experience to support you in a way that feels practical, compassionate, and deeply understanding.

Together, we build the knowledge, trust, and connection needed to step out of the boxes that keep you stuck, honour what makes you and your horse unique, and grow a secure and healthy relationship that sets you up for everything you do.

So you can feel confident you’re putting your horse first, listening and understanding them—without the pressure to be anything other than yourself.

Because when that happens, you and your horse can feel at home together, free to enjoy your journey-whatever it looks like.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me getting lost in the Welsh hills (literally) or living this work with my two cobs, Indi & Jack, through our shared journey in care, training, and connection.

I am based in Mid Wales, and travel to in person sessions.
I regularly visit Northampton and Sussex to visit my client base.

If you are searching for a different way - you are not alone.
I began my path with horses much like most passionate horse people. Spending Saturdays mucking out for a 30 minute ride, flapping my legs and pulling my reins. Secretly sneaking into the horse's stable away from the judgemental eye of others, to hang out, and enjoy quiet undemanding moments.

So naturally, I begged borrowed and stole to got my first pony at 16. Despite the dream of riding into the sunset together, I became his worst nightmare. Not because I didn't care, or love him - but because I didn't have the resources, knowledge or tools to understand him - or myself. I would end every session feeling more lost and frustrated than when we started. I felt out of answers, and losing hope fast.

It wasn't until I started understanding relationship... that things began to change.
