Workshops can be educational, practical and interactive, or a combination. We can discuss what might be the best fit for your group.

If you have a group in mind that would benefit from a workshop, or are curious about what it could offer, do get in touch.

Nervous System

Learn about how your brain and body work together, to protect and connect you.

And understand more about different states and how to tap into them. To move away from existing in fight/flight/shutdown and into a state of calm, presence, rational thinking, relationship building and communication.

Attunement

This is particularly powerful for yard & equestrian workshops.

Exploring the science of connection (polyvagal lens) between horse and human

And then put this into practice with the horses.

Can include a live demo from Cat.

Relationship

Exploring the power of relationship and its capacity to unlock deeper understanding, awareness and connection with the self.

A transformational topic that leaves lots to be thought about.

Can be in context of horses or humans

Testimonial

Attending the Afternoon of Attunement with Cat with the most beautiful and serene backdrop of the stables we were lucky enough to experience in Northamptonshire was exactly what I needed that day, that week and that month. I went there to reflect on my relationship with one of my traumatised horses, however, as it unfolded I was reminded of how much internal stuff I bring to the interaction, without realising that my mare is picking up on it.

While I carry a lot of knowledge about the theory that underpinned the early afternoon, the reminder of it was crucial as it is so foundational and nothing else can be done without immersing yourself in it. Then later on seeing Cat in action with Obi, and modelling the co-regulation opportunities I am often missing, made everything click into place and crystallised the gaps in my practice. The whole afternoon has served as an anchor for me having returned to the busyness of work-life on the yard ... I still have the "To-do" list of horse-based chores but now I am reminded to take a few seconds or minutes as I greet the herd, stand alongside the magnificence of their sturdy, nostril-flaring presence and breathe, slow down, attune and now it's a regular "little and often" approach that has emerged from good intentions into concrete, tangible reality. Can I learn this stuff from YouTube? Yes, probably. But can I absorb the powerful experiential learning that I did that afternoon in Northamptonshire, that then allows me to translate good intentions into reality, providing me with the anchor I need to make it happen? Absolutely not.

Thanks Cat, Thanks Obi - just thank you to the simplicity and beauty of our time together. You gave me so much that day!

Louise.

"...The result is an empowered, authentic and incredibly non-judgemental..."

"...I’ve never known an approach quite like this, and the result is an empowered, authentic and incredibly non-judgemental. I can’t recommend Cat’s work highly enough"

"...She is a soft, open, grounded and attuned horsewoman...

"Cat helps humans and horses be more authentically themselves, allowing them to communicate and connect with each other on a whole new level. She is a soft, open, grounded and attuned horsewoman who will honour the horse and their unique experiences, and always go at the pace they need her to."

"...Fascinating insights to my work with my horses..."

"...All of the workshops brought fascinating insights to my work with my horses, and together we went further

than I could have possibly dreamed of at the start of the year. Cat doesn’t have a technique that she makes everyone follow - instead, she provides us with resources and supports us in weaving them into our practice however feels right for us and our horses."

"...She helped spin my life around in the best possible way..."

"...I had a feeling of being ‘stuck’ and unable to move forwards in certain areas of my life. I was introduced to Cat and it straight away felt like she understood me and quite honestly helped spin my life around in the best possible way."

"...more sure in myself, and calmer overall..."

"...I've also grown noticeably to those around me

who tell me I seem much more sure in myself, and calmer overall.  I was dealing with a lot of fear and anxiety around horses at the beginning of the year, which was spilling over from my everyday life. Getting to understand my nervous system and learning how to become friends with it has been such a powerful tool that I can take with me wherever I am."

"...I can advocate for him when I feel pressure from others..."

"This summer we went out and smashed all our goals together, but at the end of it all, I can come back to him and see just how far we have come in all the small ways that really matter too - we had our first lay down in the stable together,

we met each other in conversation for the first time,

I can advocate for him when I feel pressure from others"
